prevent purchase of multiple memberships at once

I am wondering if Xtrulink could prevent people from purchasing more than one membership in one transaction? We are finding that whenever anyone purchases multiple memberships at once (for example a membership for themselves and a gift membership for someone else, or two gift memberships), Altru screws things up in the system.

• All the guest passes duplicate in Altru and become intertwined among multiple memberships.

• Our special acknowledgements for gift memberships will not work.

Sadly, we have no way of untangling the mess that is created by Altru and Altru has no intention of fixing this problem at this time.
